Our Story Begins Below the Surface
Our journey started at a luxury resort in the Maldives. Caroline came from Switzerland for an internship to complete her Divemaster training — with Aalif as her instructor. The two quickly connected through a shared love for the ocean, and a deeper connection grew from countless dives, boat rides, and quiet moments on the beach.
But the story didn’t end when the internship did.
Separated by distance — and working at different resorts due to the challenges of being hired as a couple — we knew something had to change. We didn’t just want to work in the dive industry; we wanted to create something of our own, something where we could follow our passion side by side.
That’s when Coral Bliss Maldives was born.

Meet The People Behind
Coral Bliss Maldives
Caroline is originally from Switzerland and holds a Bachelor of Law degree. She worked in banking and later in her family’s business — but her true passion emerged in 2019, when she discovered diving in the Maldives.
In 2023, a serious boat accident during a holiday in Mauritius became a turning point. It was a life-changing experience that led her to leave behind a high-pressure career and pursue what truly mattered: a life by the ocean.
Today, Caroline is a PADI Instructor and co-founder of Coral Bliss Maldives. With her calm presence, strong sense of organization, and fluency in German and English, she ensures each guest feels personally looked after — with care, clarity, and genuine warmth.
Aalif grew up in the Maldives, where the ocean has always been part of his daily life. He started diving at a young age and began his career on liveaboards, gaining hands-on experience across the country’s most iconic dive sites.
After becoming a PADI Instructor, he worked in several top resorts and eventually led dive teams as a Dive Center Manager.
As co-founder of Coral Bliss Maldives, Aalif brings together deep local knowledge, a calm guiding style, and a passion for showing guests the very best of his island home — both above and below the surface.
